sports top work well) as well as a change of clothes for afterwards.

Meet at the
boathouse at 7:15am, off the water by 8:30am so everyone can get to those all
important 9am lectures. Will be a mix of sprints, polo skills, chat, and
general hard work but also fun.

Come along for a beginner friendly polo session, this time open to all! No previous polo experience required - just be comfortable in a boat! A really good way to get involved and learn/practice some of the basics.
If the river isn't too fast then we'll get out the goal and do some games involving shooting.
Make sure to bring lots of warm layers and a change of clothes for afterwards.

THE
WEDNESDAY WARRIORS RETURN AT MC 13:30-15:00
The
usual Wednesday session! Open to beginners and is simply a really chill couple
hours on the River Wear. If you want to get into kayaking or simply have a fun
afternoon on the river this is probably the session for you!
Please
bring a fleece to wear on the water, spare shoes, plenty of spare clothes and a
towel. It is best not to wear jeans on the water since these shrink when wet.

Please only attend this session if you have already attended a beginner's polo session or have chatted to Sarah (I promise I'm friendly!).
If you came to beginner's polo and are looking to keep improving then this is the training for you!
Training focus will depend on number but will likely be about some of the things we could improve on based on recent tournaments - can't wait to see you there!

Friday 2nd February 2024 18:30 at Lake District
Refreshers. 2nd - 4th of
February.
This is our white water trip of the year to the Lake District. The lake
District has some amazing rivers of abilities that everyone can enjoy, though
it will be cold this time of the year.
Fresher friendly trip, though if you haven't been on an intro to white water
yet, you should attend the next one before the trip.
Great social atmosphere in the evenings.
We will be staying in a hall on the floor, so sleeping mats and bags are needed.

Sunday and then heading home to arrive in Durham in the evening.
The
trip will cost about £60 ish (exact cost worked out after) which includes:
accommodation, food, and travel for the weekend
