Friday pool session.
This session will focus on Polo skills.
Meet @ boathouse at 7pm sharp. We will load up the cars and drive you to Darlington. You'll need swimming stuff (e.g. t shirt and shorts) and a water bottle/towel. Bring some snacks if you like - biscuits are provided afterwards. We get back to Durham about 10:45.
If you haven't been before, you'll have to do a short swim test. This involves swimming two lengths of a 25m pool (total 50m) and treading water for 1 minute. No specific stroke or great technique required.
If you unsign from a pool session within 24hrs and can't find someone to replace you, you will still be charged. If you do unsign, put a message on the group offering your place to people. Price for members is £6. Non-member price is £9.

THE WEDNESDAY WARRIORS CONTINUE AT MC 13:30-15:00
The usual relaxed Wednesday session! Open to all with beginners especially welcome, this is simply a really chill couple of hours on the river. If you want to get into kayaking or simply have a fun afternoon session on the river this is the session for you!
Please bring a fleece to wear on the water, spare shoes, plenty of spare clothes, and a towel. It is best to avoid jeans on the water as these shrink when wet. It is now getting very chilly, so an extra fleece is a good idea.
Any questions please ask in the socials chat, message the club instagram, or message Devon (Vice Captain).
Prepare for pain.
Bring a water bottle, questionable playlists encouraged.
