Post Term Chill Paddle 2

A post term paddle. Take whatever boat you are comfortable in.

Please bring enough warm clothes for on the water (not jeans). Bring a spare change of warm clothes and shoes for afterwards as well as a towel.

Meet at the boathouse at 12:00. We should be off the water by 14:00.

Wye Touring Trip

Celebrate the end of the exams and the beginning of day drinking with 4 days flatwater touring on the river wye in Wales, camping for 3 nights.

This trip is from the 2nd June to the 5th. Kit can be provided. If you have a space please fill out this google form ASAP and pay the £35 deposit for the campsites. https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/Axz4NnH9rm. 

Expected total price to be around £100, but this may change depending on price of fuel and Mr Trump’s mood.  

Sign ups open 4th April 1pm, be there or be square. Initially there will only be 15 spaces. We are waiting on TD to confirm whether we can have a TD car, once this is done we will give some notice before opening up an expected 7 more spaces.

Sunday Morning Fitness

Must be able to comfortably paddle a wavehopper or racing boat.
Session will be 56 minute pyramid:
8 x 30s on 30s off
4 x 1 min on 1 min off
2 x 2 min on 1 min off
1 x 4 min on 2 min off
Then back down.

BBQ social

DUCC annual BBQ social. Meet at boathouse at 2pm. Bring your own drinks, and we will make our way to the racecourse for a relaxed afternoon. Some may also go onto the pub afterwards. 

Friday Morning 5k

5km (to prebends and back)
Meet at 8am
Must be confident and comfortable in a polo boat or wavehopper (no safety provided)
