Christmas Paddle!!!

At Christmas little children sing and merry bells jingle,

The cold winter air makes our hands and faces tingle

And happy families go to church and cheerily they mingle

And the whole business is unbelievably dreadful, if you're not paddling!

Yes the last line doesn't rhyme, I'm not an English student OK. However, one thing i can do paddle, albeit badly, and  you can join in on the Christmas paddle. Its happening on Saturday, the same day as the meal so you will be nice and hungry after a day on the river. It will be a river suitable for everyone.

And if paddling the river wasn't fun enough, we will be doing fancy dress, whoever can make themselves or their boat look the most Christmassy wins! (don't ask me what the prize is)

Meet at the boathouse at 9 am. we will be back in plenty of time for the meal.

Please bring swimwear a towel and also  a short sleeved t-shirt or lycra rash-vest, the cost for these sessions are £5

Canoe polo is a fun team ball sport in kayaks, during the session we practice basic paddling and passing in polo boats to full attack and defense set ups, so there's plenty to do if you are a beginner or a pro looking to practice for the next tournament.
