Just a chilled afternoon out on the River Wear - a few games, a few drills, otherwise just a relaxed paddle session.
Bring a spare change of clothes, shoes for the water, and a towel (we'll supply the rest). Where possible, come to the session in the clothes you intend on wearing on the water, to minimise time in the boathouse.
It is compulsory to take 2 university LFT Covid-19 tests a week if you are taking part in sport; we will be monitoring this. The test must have been taken within ***48*** hours of your session, ideally on the same day or within 24 hours.
If you sign up to this session and then cannot attend for any reason, you must let an exec member know asap and unsign on this page!
Meet at the boathouse at 7:10 pm for transport to Hartlepool for the Pool session. We should arrive back and be done by 11pm
There are limited spaces based on the number of cars we have - so sorry if you can't get on.
This session will focus on the general boat handling skills - rolling and T-rescue in particular.
Priority is given to those who have paid for membership - if you sign up without having paid we may have to remove you from the session.
Bring clothes to get changed into - you will get wet but it's inside and warm. Sports clothes or a swimming costume with shorts/leggings and a sports top work well
IMPORTANT NOTICE:

7am at the boathouse, done by 8.30am in time for lectures.
Cost - TBC but no more than £6.00 (to help cover pool and petrol costs) - hopefully this will go down as term continues
