Do you want to get up at 7am to go kayaking in the cold and damp? Of course you do!
Meet at the boathouse at 7:15am, off the water by 8:30am so everyone can get to those all important 9am lectures. Will be a mix of sprints, drills, chat, and general hard work but also fun.
Please make sure you are already comfortable wearing a spraydeck and with basic boat skills before coming (just because swimming at 7am isn't fun for anyone involved). Ask Sarah/Nick/Joe any questions!
Can't wait to see you there
NOT AT STOCKTON THIS WEEK
Due to a shortage of drivers it will probably be on the Wear in Durham this week.
Open to all who are comfortable in a polo boat, and particularly recommended for anyone playing Yorkshire Polo League this term!
This is outside so bring warm clothes and spares for after. This is a great opportunity to play on full size pitches, and have some good coaching. If you want to improve your polo, this is THE session come to.
We will meet at 9am. The aim will be to do a good 1hr and 30min sesh and be back for 12ish
Cost is £6
Any questions ask Nick or another member of the exec.

After a long wait… it finally returns after being postponed for several years…
Refreshers 2023!
This trip is running from the 3rd of February until the evening of the 5th. (Specific leaving times will be confirmed with drivers)
This trip welcomes everyone who has been introduced to whitewater kayaking and is interested in improving and gaining new kayaking experiences.
For most freshers this will be the first away trip - the general plan includes:
Leaving Friday evening
Paddling Saturday
Paddling Sunday and then heading home to arrive in Durham in the evening.
I have made a very vague estimation of around £60 ish (if all places fill) for this trip which includes: accommodation, food, and travel for the weekend.
If you have any queries please send Charlotte a message - she is happy to try and answer them before sign-ups start.
Canceled!!!!!!
