Tees Barrage bank holiday Monday the 8th of May. 9 a.m. at the boathouse, back early - mid, afternoon, probably around 2 p.m.

Open to people that have done some white water before, though you don't have to be good. It's a controlled environment so perfect for people to improve their WW skills. Any questions about if you are competent enough to come please speak to Josh or Charlotte.

I know this is the second one in two days.......

The course needs to be booked on https://tbiwwc.com/activity-booking/white-water-kayaking-booking/ Please drop Josh a message to confirm your spot before paying the £15 on the Tees Barrage website.

Monday Morning Fitness

Do you want to get up at 7am to go kayaking in the cold and damp? Of course you do!

Meet at the boathouse at 7:15am, off the water by 8:30am so everyone can get to those all important 9am lectures. Will be a mix of sprints, drills, chat, and general hard work but also fun.

Please make sure you are already comfortable wearing a spraydeck and with basic boat skills before coming (just because swimming at 7am isn't fun for anyone involved).

Can't wait to see you there

Sunday Evening Paddle

Meet at the boat house for 5pm,

We will paddle to town and back, so please make sure you are comfortable paddling that distance. If unsure, please ask Charlotte or Josh.

Scotland 2023

Scotland 2023:

We have the availability to take 14 people to Scotland this year, we will be heading up early on Saturday 18th March and returning on Thursday 23rd of March in the evening. This trip is focused more towards those who have been getting involved in whitewater regularly this year or have been kayaking whitewater for a while now.

Depending on numbers we shall be staying in a bunkhouse which is currently estimated at £120/£125 per person for the week's trip. Food and travel will be calculated at the end of the trip.

PLEASE NOTE: Once sign-up has closed you are confirmed onto this trip and accommodation will be sorted with the expectation of all that have signed up and are going.

Payments for the deposit of the accomodation will have to be booked quickly too for reference!

If you have any queries give Charlotte a message, she will be happy to help! If you want a general idea of this trip have a look at last year's videos: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIfzN9E7ihUlfPCwp3AdRx-QZsj12Dm36

Freshers Progression WW paddle.

This is a slightly spontaneous trip designed mainly for kayaking freshers who have been involved in a variety of WW trips but need some more focus specific sessions. This trip is running mainly for freshers who are not going to Scotland (but Scotland freshers are also encouraged to come if they want some more practice).

River to be confirmed, as it depends on rain and group of people, but easy grade 3. However, with this week's forecast it could still be quite intense, so please bring plenty of layers.

Arrive at the boathouse at 8am (this does mean 8am Fin... not 11:33...), with the aspiration to be back late afternoon depending on the day, traffic and water etc.

If you have any questions regarding it, please speak to Josh, Nick, or Charlotte.
